INSTALLATIONS & COMMISSIONS

KIZUNA

2012
Milan
350 x 850 x 50
Installation for an exhibition at the Triennale of Milan

The artwork is about the natural disaster caused by the ferocity of the earthquake that hit Japan in 2011.
It highlights the contrast between the furious devastation of nature and the beauty
that nature can create in this country during every season of the year.

The installation provides documentary evidence of the impetuous reality
of the earthquake disaster and the people’s reaction to it:
no desperation, but hope, no resentment, but love and the beauty of solidarity among the people.
